Hi! I'm Brittany, the maker behind Stars Over Salem. I am a small, mom-owned children's clothing brand created with a lot of love, creativity, and a little bit of thread everywhere.

What started as a love for sewing and creating fun timeless pieces for my girls slowly grew into something so much bigger. I fell in love with the process of turning beautiful fabric into something that children can actually live, play, and grow in. I wanted to create clothing as special as the little ones wearing it.

As my business has grown, so has my vision. I am passionate about being intentional about what goes into each piece, which is why we are focused primarily on Organic American Milled fabric.

One of my favorite things about small business is that nothing happens alone.

When you shop with me, you're supporting more than just my little sewing studio. You are helping to support the many small businesses and creative women behind each piece.

My fabrics are printed by a family owned business in Texas. The independent artists and designers earn a commission based on the yardage ordered. The fabric itself is produced through a mill right here in the United States, supporting the people who make our textiles.

It's a beautiful chain of people choosing to support people.

That's what I love most about shopping small. Your order may look like one little package arriving at your door, but behind it are artists, printers, textile workers, designers, seamstresses, moms, families, and small businesses, all being supported along the way.

Every piece I made is sewn by me, in small quantities rather than mass produced. From choosing the fabric to cutting, sewing, finishing each item, I am involved in every step. Your items are intentionally made for your little one.
